Islamabad (Mediazoon): The government started preparing for a petrol bomb on the public for the new year and OGRA recommended to increase the prices of petroleum products.
According to Express News, Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent to the entire Ministry of Petroleum to increase the prices of petroleum products.
The caretaker institution has proposed to increase the cost of petrol at Rs 4, 6 paise, kerosene oil at Rs 13 rupees 58, high-speed diesel prices and Rs. 5 rupees 83 paise and light speed diesel cost Rs. 12 rupees.
The final decision to increase the prices of petroleum products will be from the Ministry of Finance.
The approval of the government will result in new pricing from January 1.
It is clear that the government determines the value of petroleum products on a monthly basis in terms of the global market.
